Advice re purchase of diamond ring

I am looking at two rings and cannot decide which is the best one to purchase.I am hoping to use this ring both as my engagement ring and wedding band.
The following is descriptions of both rings
The first ring:
This ring is a Chanel setting with the diamonds set in 6 pieces into the band which is 18kt gold
The cut is the Princess Cut
It is .70ct
The colour is '' G''
The Clarity is ''SI

The Second Ring:
This ring is a Chanel setting with the diamonds set in 7 pieces into the band which is 18kt gold
The cut is the Brilliant Cut
It is ..48ct
The colour is '' I''
The Clarity is ''''VS1''

Leaving out the cost of the ring which would be the better buy.
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated

You dont have any info on the cut of these stones so we can determine if they are well cut stones or not.

But if we conclude that they are both cut the same (quality wise) , I believe the .7 princess would cost more.

Do either rings come with any reputable certification so you know what the color/clarity stated is what you''re actually getting?
