Age difference between you and SO?

He''s four years older, but it doesn''t feel like much at all.

I had dated someone 7 (was it 8?) years older, and the age difference felt like a LOT. However, I was in my early 20s and he was just in a completely different stage of life than I was. He was great, but we were not meant for each other!

It truly doesn''t bother me except that he was in 8th grade when I graduated from high school. Odd. Now there''s really no difference.

There is 5 1/2 years between my hubby and me, he was 30 when we had our first son and 42 when we had our second, it is a little harder keeping up with the second one, but he manages quit well, our son is 11 now and Dad is 53, we still keep up with him, lol, we just tire out a little easier

We''re 7 1/2 years apart -- he''s older. I worry sometimes too that by the time we get around to kids, he''ll be a bit older. Neither of us is quite ready yet, but I think he''ll probably get there before me... we''ve talked about it but will just have to see how it goes.

other than that, it''s usually not a big deal. He finds it amusing when I am completely clueless about some tv show or band that was huge when he was a teenager. I just have to remind him -- honey, I was only 5 - how would I know?

I am 43 and my fiance is 33, although I often feel like the younger one. People comment frequently that we are not ''obviously'' so different in age as they tell me I look young for my age and he is not a baby face bless him. Just recently some really old friends of mine have been posting pictures of me on face book at an age when he wasn''t even born - that is a bit weird. None of our friends and family have ever batted an eyelid and accept us for who we are. It is all about being happy with whomever you are with. I don''t think about age at all
