Almost as exciting as ring shopping...

So this weekend we went down to Los Angeles for one last hurrah before we move up to Portland next week, and one of our stops down there was to look at watches! I told Kris that when we get engaged, I''d like to buy him a high end watch so that he also has a timeless keepsake from our engagement.

Well, long story short, he found "his watch"! It''s funny, because it''s nothing either of us would have picked prior to seeing them on his wrist, but it fits him perfectly. I haven''t bought it yet, but this is the one I will get when the time comes. Also, if anyone is looking at watches, definitely check out Feldmar''s in LA--it is a wonderful shop with a huge selection (they are an authorized dealer for nearly every watch brand!) and fantastic customer service.

Thanks, guys! It''s funny because seeing the difference between what i would have chosen for him vs. what he chose for himself has really made him realize that i should have a serious say in my ring. Woo!

LP, Mr. Surfgirl also lusts after that same watch. It looks particularly lovely in the S/S (or is it WG, I''m not sure) with pink gold numbers/markers...Your man has very good taste in watches...and very expensive taste!

LOL, true! It''s my own fault though--I told him not to look at price tags because I want him to have a keepsake that will last forever.
