About Chris: I had an inkling that the version was unoriginal. But. so what. He probably knew someone would uncover it anyway. The producers probably had a heavy part in his decision not to mention it.

OOOHHH OHHHH good scoop!!! Simon was on Rita Cosby tonight and ...

a) stuck by his Top Three predictions: Taylor, Chris & Kellie

and

b) when asked who he thought would WIN he said "I have a horrible feeling the public is going to vote for TAYLOR and I would prefer CHRIS"

then

c) one of the Executive Producers said it would be the tightest race ever and that he DISAGREED with SIMON completely.

Hmmmm.... Then Rita asked about MANDISA and Simon said "Well she''s getting better & that Katherine''s getting better. But I''ll stick with my three."

Oooh I loves predictions. Especially about "my Taylor".

I heard briefly on the news tonight that Paula may get the boot as she was being difficult. Her reps denied this. But my news station ( local ) said that Jessica Simpson and Brittany Spears were being considered for a possible replacement?? Anyone else hear this?? Can''t say I am surprised though. Paula has been acting a bit wacko.

I like to see how "out of it" she''s going to be each show...it''s part of the show!

Since Elliott is a home boy, the local paper has done some press on him - all good. Basically - he is a very nice unassuming guy who has battled much adversity (diabetes, substanial hearing loss & a mother with a serious illness).

I studied the brownie mixes at the store yesterday but walked on by, and got BBQ potato chips instead!

BIG MISTAKE!!

Somehow, during my angst at the mostly sucky performances...a piece of the really strong BBQ chip flew up into my EYE!

OMG!!

I thought I was going to die! I was hopping up and down and screaming! It still hurts today! I''m never eating them again without eye protection on!

I should have gotten the brownies!!

I have to say I was lol about you hopping up and down with the piece of chip in your eye. It isn''t funny that it was hurting you but more because I can relate somewhat. About a year ago, I was peeling the skin off a cucumber, and a piece of the skin flew in my eye. It hurt like all get out! I ended up needing to flush out my eye because the little piece was still in there. Finally got it out, but afterwards my eye still hurt and was blurry. I was going around at the time sort of flapping my hands up and down because it was driving me crazy. Hope your eye is better.

I wasn''t surprised about the bottom 3 at all. All the performances were completely MEH! last night and I wouldn''t have been surprised with anyone. When they put Katharine and Bucky together I knew it would be Katharine. She seemed shocked to be in the bottom 3 and IMO you should never appear shocked on camera because it makes you seem holier than though.

Lisa was a cutie and handled it like a pro. Good job Lisa. Good luck on broadway! you''ll be a smash! My ultimate Idol, however, is screwed now.

Did you see how CLOSE pick pickler was sitting to our boy Chris? And why do they keep sitting her near him?? Anyways, she was sitting 2 feet from Taylor and 2 inches from Chris. She gave Chris the ol'' thigh squeeze and Taylor... nada.... Dirty little mink.

Aside from Lisa blah blah blah getting the proverbial boot, I have to say Wyclef and Shakira were the highlight of both episodes for moi. And the fact that Ace was in the bottom three again (oh if there is a God let him be gone next week, please?!) I didn''t have any brownies, but did enjoy some merlot, hee hee!

Cucumber? Ouch! I just wonder why we jump around and flap our arms? I put more drops in today and it''s all better!

You know I did at first - but looking at Lisa - she TOTALLY knew she was going home. I think she was prepared for it and just let whatever was happening during the actual show just pass right by her.

I swear - KAtherine was in the bottom 2 because of the crazy outfit. And I don''t think that it is so bad that KAtherine looked shocked -- she got really positive feedback the night before (best of the night - despite it not being a super high complement at the time) and she has gotten pretty positive feedback the whole time. I thought it was a little refreshing to see someone react with actual real to life emotions. Instead of the whole fake happy cheery "I don''t mind if I get booted off tonight" vibe most of the bottom 3 try to give off. Hopefully it will be a big kick to her system - get her ampiing up her game.

I do also have to say that Bucky won some - "awww, you are a nice guy and I feel bad that you are so sucky" points from me last night. When they announced who was bottom three it actually looked like he was a lost puppy and kind of seemd like he was trying to pull Kat back in her seat so he could go down to the stage.
