Here are my gifts to my bridesmaids. It is a small canvas tote from Lillian Vernon, pearl earring and necklace from a local silver jewelry shoppe, $1 flip flops from Target that i wrapped the rubber straps in that fun fur type yarn (most people use to make those funky scarves out of--made them so comfy and soft!) and a bottle of Sweet Pea lotion from Bath & Bodyworks, plus i paid for everyones mani and pedis!

We all had lunch together Friday afternon, so I gave everyone their bag then. After lunch we went for the mani/pedis. So relaxing after a stressful day of decorating and trying to figure out the room arrangement for the reception! We were running out of room and still needed to add more tables, but it worked out great in the end.

I know this looks funky because i blurred her face, but shes still a cutie!

My 7 year old neice and flowergirl getting her pedicure. Poor thing wanted to hang out with her brother (ring bearer) at the pool so bad, but once she got her feet in the tub she said it WAY cooler than the pool! She even asked for her nails to be done in a french manicure to match all the big girls!

njc- Your niece is just too cute! And the bags are great. I can only imagine how nice it must be to be a bridesmaid and be so appreciated! I hear so many bridezilla stories. (Not on PS of course!

This is the quiet before the storm... the emtpy church sanctuary before the rehersal on Friday night. You can see the bows on the end of the pews. We really didnt decorate the church at all... its so pretty on its own. Just the bows and a flower arrangement up in the baptismal, which of course wasnt there on Friday night!

This is a stained glass window in the church that is in memory of one of my grandfathers. My parents met at the church in HS and were married there as well over 36 years ago! Very much the family church... found memories in that place!

We had a small arrangement and candle there and in the program it said something like, "for those that could not be here to celebrate with us today." I wanted it not only those who had passed, but some friends and family couldnt be there for various reasons... its was for everyone!

She did a wonderful job and loved EVERY minute of it! I dont think 7 is too old by any means. It was funny, before i could ask her if she wanted to be the FG, she was already telling her mother that was what she was going to do... SIL was trying to tell her that she couldnt just say she wanted to do it, i had to ask her first.

I loved my dress... it was the perfect combo of several dresses i liked and of course my favorite part was the train! It was rather comfy too, which was nice since i had it on for 10 hours!

Buena - you are so sweet! I had a total blast on Sunday... i wish i could have stuck around longer. You girls are so much fun, I really cannot wait to see everyone again!!!

JC - You said exactly what i was going for! I kept looking at pictures where the bridal party was in black and they looked so elegant, I wanted the same look to my pics!

MS - I was waiting for someone to call me crazy about the BM dresses. I thought it would be fun to pull the blue out of the hydrangeas and into the girls dresses and i definately wanted black. Whenever someone would ask what color the BM dresses were and i said "black and blue" i got the strangest looks like what in the hell are you thinking?!?! Hahaha... but i think they turned out great, wouldnt change a thing about them.

Here is a better view of the back, although its pretty blurry. Most of the pictures i have you cant even see the blue, esp from the front.
