Hi PSers

I try not to come here to often for obvious reasons. Lol

It's my anniversary tomorrow and I get to pick something out but am having a hard time deciding.

Budget is $500-$1000

Options

1. For the longest time I wanted a Cartier Trinity the thinnest. Would most likely wear on my right hand. If I went with this should I get my ring finger size? So that I could switch hands. RH is a little bigger than left. Or should I get it for my middle finger and stack with a few of my other middle finger bands which is what I typically wear on my right hand.

2. Never did get that Kylie Anne rose gold twist band. Got side tracked with a bunch of other things but still really like this.

3. Daniel M has a band gold or rose gold that looks like the perlee band like tiny connected balls.

3. Love wedding band. Not sure why I like this. Too trendy?

4. Tiffany infinity ring gold? I'm also loving the palmelatto(sp?) rings but way too much money!! Not sure I have the patience to have one made. Sourcing the stone and finding the person to craft it.

5 A bracelet? (I stack two silver daily)

6. A necklace? (I stack two gold daily)

7. Keep it simple and add another charm to my Helen Ficalora necklace that i wear daily? I do cherish it. Way under budget.

8. Save your money for a bigger project.

9. Your suggestion :)

Try on the cartier trinity before you buy. I wanted one forever and it just didn't look good on my hand. How lucky to have a nice chunk of change to buy a gift!

I was stalking the cartier topics and came across your comment. Which made me think I should just go try it on first. Lol. That wouldn't be fun if I bought it over the phone and then hated it once it got here. I did try on the infinity ring and was super surprised that I liked it as much as I did. I thought it was going to feel like a kids ring but it didn't at all.

Sleep on it!

I'm a big proponent of getting the right thing when the time is right - i.e., when you can afford it (check!) and when it speaks to you.

If the Cariter trinity has spoken to you - as it has to me, btw, though I haven't sprung for one yet - I'd get it for a ring finger, and use it in a small stack or as the classic/understated option for those days when you want to go with less bling. But then again, I'm kind of biased towards small stacks since my fingers don't have the real estate to support big stacks. :wink2:

I have the thinnest Trinity ring and definitely echo comments to try it on first, if you can. I like mine a lot, but to me, because the individual bands are so thin, each color gold seems to blend in to the other, so that it looks like one undefined color of gold, rather than 3 separate ones. That might also be due to my skin color too, though. Also, I love the slightly wider ring, but found that although I have thin fingers, the wider bands gave me the dreaded finger muffin top and it wasn't flattering at all!

Thanks ladies. There is definitely no rush for purchase;). We arent celebrating for another week or so. I will try it on especially now that I am hearing the mixed reviews. Not on its beauty but how it may not work for everyone. Lol. I know what you mean LoganSappire. I have seen the 2.9 in some pics and it looks like its squeezing the finger super tight. Not that look that I am not really going for. I have long fingers too and don't like my rings tight but really don't like that squeeze more. If it has to be tight in order to stay on then its not for me for sure.

On another not I did try on the infinity. Was thinking it was going to look like a child's ring but when the SA handed it to me I was impressed. Beautiful and buttery. I actually liked it!

Oops. Not sure why the pics are upside down. But you get the point. :)
