STUNNING - absolutely beautiful!!

Thanks everyone!! I really appreciate all your wonderful feedback!

Guess what?

My hubby said I can wear my new pretties as soon as they arrive

He''s such a sweetie - he said I waited long enough and what''s the point of even holding them until Christmas if they arrive before then. Yayyy!!

Now I''m SUPER excited!

Your new set is sheer perfection!

Thank you, tigian!

In a way, I am grateful that we didn''t shop for an e-ring before we got married because I didn''t know about PS back then!!

What a beautiful upgrade, congratulations!!!

Beautiful upgrade. Mark Morrell with a BGD stone is a stunning combo in my opinion.

Gorgeous, just stunning. Mark Morrel and a BGD stone, that''s a winning combo for sure. Enjoy and wear it in the best of health. Glad you get to wear it as soon as it arrives!! Your hubby is a sweetie.

very nice ring set! and an early congratulations on your 5 year anniversary! what a great guy you married for that upgrade!

Thanks so much Sarahbear621!! He really is a great guy, I''m soooo lucky. Once we set the budget, he let me run away with all the planning. Yay fun!

Today, I received word from Lesley at Brian Gavin Diamonds to let me know that the rings are on their way back

And, Brian very kindly took the time to take some of his fantastic glamour shots.

I have to say, once again, that the level of service I received from both Mark Morrell and Brian Gavin Diamonds was superb. I couldn''t have wished for anything better. I feel that I have been treated like a gem

Here''s the first lovely photo, sent from Brian and Lesley.
The e-ring is resting gently on her side... I like how you can see the detail of the basket in this one

That is such a classic beautiful set! I love that setting!

Thanks so much for your super sweet comments!!

I am very excited to inform you all that we picked up the rings from FedEx today!! And, hubby let me wear them right out of the box - without waiting one millisecond!

Honestly, I gasped when I opened the first of the two ring boxes. It contained the Flame. I saw the stone before we had it set, but holey moley does it sparkle!! And, the way Mark forms the platinum is just beyond words beautiful. So silky smooth and liquid.

The wedding band is incredibly delicate looking, much more so in person than in the photos. Very, very femine - Mark truly captured the look I was going for. I was a little nervous asking him to craft a channel set eternity band without beads. He was very happy to oblige. He confessed he hadn''t crafted one in quite some time, but what I had in mind sounded similar to a ring he made for his wife. Once he told me that, I was far less concerned, as I thought - if it is good enough for Mrs. Morrell, it will be good enough for me!

I have to say, Mark really took a lot of time to listen to exactly how I prefered the Flame and wedding band to be. He tailored them exactly to how I expressed my preferences. Being cognizant of Mark''s busy workshop, I made myself promise that I wouldn''t contact him until I knew exactly what I wanted.
I feel truly honored to have had the chance to own the works of such a fine craftsman, with over four decades of experience, and his work is well worth the wait. The quality truly shows through.

Let me take a few steps back - - - the wedding band I wore every day (prior to receiving my new set today) was a platinum and diamond shared prong purchased from a ''maul'' store with a very good reputation. Unfortunately, the quailty wasn''t good at all, and I began to lose stones within our first year of marraige... I found myself looking at my hand not thinking how lovely the ring is any longer, but worrying that all the stones were there!

So, it''s very nice to have a beautiful new and very well made set to replace the shared prong ring. When I catch a glimpse of my hand now, I am startled by beauty!!

Well, my camera battery died tonite, so I only snapped a few. But I will post more!!

Here''s one of the wedder alone in it''s pretty little box
