Dear PSers,
Another custom Etsy ring to report here
I saw this design and fell for it immediately. To my imagination, there is something Russian to this design... like the headdress of a traditional Russian costume. And being Russian, I love that

But since I already have an ering (and can't afford to spend that much on a ring right now anyway) I asked the seller if she could make me a version in silver, and with my stones. Patti was very friendly and said that she could, but after the holidays.
In the meantime I started searching for a set of stones. I don't have many round stones (not my fave shape), and (as I found out) I'm not very open to various color combinations. But in the end, with plenty of luck, I came up with three red-pink spinels that I liked. They were smaller than the stones in the prototype ring, but Patti said that wouldn't be a problem.
I sent the stones to Patti in mid-January, and she was really great with updating me on the process. She sent me a pic of the mold and estimated dates for casting. She was done ahead of schedule, and I got the ring today.
I LOOOOOOVE it
And now, the pics!!
