TO ME!
I have been on the hunt for a pure green since I first fell in love with colored diamonds (thanks, Kenny!). Green is one of my favorite colors and the science nerd part of me (well, that's all of me!) thinks it's awesome how they receive their coloration. They're very hard to find, and bloody expensive. Everything that has come up in the last year and a half I've been looking has been wayyyyy out of my price range. Like 'bathing in Cristal, exfoliating with beluga caviar' out of my price range.
Life would be perfect if we could ALL have stones like Kenny's dynamite green, but waiting to win lotto hasn't exactly paid off yet...especially since I don't actually buy tickets.
But today, waiting for DH to grab some takeaway noodles, I opened Leibish's new items on my phone and there he was. MY GREEN STONE. He's not perfect - the saturation isn't great. But the fact is, if it were, he would have been out of my league. As it is he's a bit of a stretch...DH gave me a look like this:
I still think he looks excellent, and as usual Aviva at Leibish was a saint and more than generous with the return period. I LOVE buying from her!
I won't have him in my hot hands until June 2, so I've got plenty of time to come up with a name for him. I'm leaning in the direction of a traditional (ahem, stereotypical) Irish name. And it's fitting because I'll be meeting my parents in IRELAND in June!

This now rounds out a tiny collection of four. FIP, FIB, FIY, and FIG. Lord help my bank account when I find the next one...
