Some very sad updates with a little bit of joy mixed in. That summer my friend who gave me the trunk died. His wife is my best friend. My little dog 16 months after that.

He had a little young dog that he adored. His little god got depressed. So I thought it would be a good idea to introduce my dogs and have little man come visit. My sweet pup never was the same after momma dog died. We got him a new companion but she doesn’t like to play.

Unfortunately my little guy acted very aggressive during the meet and greet. Fine. I put a muzzle on him and walked them both for over a mile to tire them out. All the while my dog lunging until they got very tired. Hubby said “This isn’t going to work”. I told him failure was not an option.

Here’s the joy part. I let them together in the yard until they both seemed calm. Took the muzzle off.

They bonded in minutes. Played for hours. Little dog would spend days and nights at my house. They were inseparable. They loved each other so much. Little dog was with my dog when he passed. Their relationship was beautiful. Little dog spends the night about once a week now.

Awwww I’m glad they worked it out! I’m sorry about your friend though. that’s very bittersweet.

Ohio is sadly a ways too far from where I am! Otherwise I'd take that baby in an instant.

I'm into all that is paranormal & metaphysical and am one of the rare few on this site that believe gemstones do indeed have healing powers.

Although I've experienced spirit activity my whole life, can channel, have intense clairaudience & the ability to astral project, I have never been able to sense anything from an object that isn't living and am interested in trying. It might be because I was never raised religious really and have never tied nonliving objects to the paranormal or demonic activity.

You mean New Age, the "spiritual but not religious" with extremely eclectic beliefs: odd mix of eastern beliefs and philosophies and Victorian spiritualism?

On the same page with "manifestation/law of attraction" everything is about vibes and the word God was replaced with the word Universe.

It was really beautiful @Daisys and Diamonds. My pup was not one to share toys or space with other dogs. But when little dog took his toys he looked the other way. They would sleep together, all curled up.

@Gloria27 - no worries about me taking that the wrong way. I had this really great college professor who had many of those beliefs and he greatly influenced me. He taught me the unity theory, fasting for spiritual and physical healing. He was amazing. But it's funny how a few years of loss and a serious health scare can change the way you view things. My beliefs have changed quite a bit. I am a bit more practical now. I think the world was more fun when I wasn't, but life is still good.
