I'm not loooooking. Lalala. OK I looked. DH says I may not adopt the $2400 cool multicolored one

Awww. (Like I need more pearls to ponder in the AM!)

CCN, that seafoam pistachio one is GORGEOUS. Oh wow! Honestly, I actually do prefer baroques to rounds. Even if I drool over the rounds and think they're so beautiful, I just find myself wearing baroques most of the time. So I think if you have similar taste (and considering the damage we've collectively done at FF

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suspect that we do) I think you actually will get more mileage out of a group of gorgeous baroque strands rather than one single round one. At least I know I do!

Ellechris, I totally know what you mean that once you start fiddling with the pearls, the plan flies out the window! I love the blue tone those have. It's a beautiful little group of pearls. Are you adding more golds later? Or more of other colors?

CCN- you are right. the gold on the right is bigger. I didn't put them iin size order. Was just playing with various combos, and so far, like this one best. I think it's because I really want a blue strand.

LGK- Yep, adding more gold. She sent me a bunch that weren't drilled so I couldn't put them on the strand. Was thinking of doing gold/blue until it gets towards the top of the strand, then switching to 2 blues/1 gold until it's done.
I'm not keeping a few of the ones in the pic. There were others with better luster. In total, it looks like I'm keeping about 17 of them for now. I know it's not the typical tahitian strand but it's an interesting color combo that I think looks good on me.
Ahh well, will see how it turns out :)

And now there is more. Like this. Or this.

If I was smart, I would save my pennies and get one like the first link you posted!!

I guess I am not so smart though as I just bought another less expensive strand from Elana. She pulled a few that she had yet to list on the website and I just fell in love with the seafoam pistachio hook, line, and sinker!!

I wanted a lighter, silvery strand!

I really, really like the first one. With the discount its not too bad, right??
I really like the olive pistachio one too as I kinda went back and forth with which one. Yes, there is a lovely discount. I love that Elana works within my budget! She has created quite a Fan base here on PS!!! Her emails crack me up! I told her that my next gift to myself will be some South Sea studs! (pearls that is!!) LOL!

Thanks for your kind thoughts! I do love the drop style baroques and because of my lifestyle, I would definately wear them more so I guess I can justify not going for the more expensive rounds.

oops! I didn''t realize those pearls where more of a goldtone. They come through my computer as more silvery! I am sure it is hard to put the pearls together the way you like as I am one to second guess myself.... then I always go back to the way I tried it in the first place.

I know it will come together for you beautifully!!

Gah... I need to step away from the pearl forum...... lol
