I have not seen it in a while, who is the pregnant girl in Gabrielle''s house and what happened with the nun? What happened with Lynette and her hubby? Where is Edie? Where is Alfre Woodard and her son? Why is Bree marrying Kyle MacLachlan and why do they think he killed someone?m HELP I AM CONFUSED.

she is carrying Gabrielle and Carlos's baby--but Carlos cheated on gabrielle with her b/c Gabrielle said it was okay to go out and sleep with someone so he could get over what she did to him--but she didn't like it too much when he slept with the suroagte.

Well, it turns out the non brain damaged son framed the brain damaged son for murdering his girlfriend. And the non-brain damaged son (sorry, I can't remember their names) ended up getting shot and killed in the season finale.

oh they had somethin-somethin going on at the end of last season, and now I guess they're engaged, and his old neighbor believes he killed his ex-wife for some reason that I don't think has been revealed yet.

-Lynette's husband had a little girl with that crazy woman in the skimpy dress before he married Lynette. She showed up last season I think blackmailing (in a manipulative ugh way) him into including her in his family... They tried getting rid of her with money and it didn't fly... so she moved in like 5 minutes away and is now hanging on, as though somehow she belongs there!
-Kyle MacLachlan's wife tried to leave him (right at the beginning of this episode) and when he caught her trying, I think it was implied he killed her... At least that was my impression -- then he gets rid of the talking bird since it was spilling info! UGH! His old neighbor shows up to warn Bree... WAY TOO many wives getting killed/dying!
-Alfre Woodard and her son left town in the middle of the night when the other son got caught by the police (he was killed, right, after entering Bree's daughter's room???) Their house is for sale at this point I think
I think the nun got sent on some long mission in Africa?? Carlos was originalyl going to go with her, but somehow Gabrielle finagled the situation so that only the nun went... so I think she's at least temporarily out of the picture. The pregnant girl in the house was/is their housekeeper. When Gabrielle couldn't get pregnant and the surrogate hting wasn't working, they decided to use Show-Me (spelling) as a surrogate... Then Carlos ends up sleeping with her!! That's why he's living at a hotel!
Edie's around -- she was doing an open house in this episode

Thanks for the updates, girls...I feel so out of the loop. I was obsessed with the show and left when Gabrielle fought with the nun and got her sent away and Bree''s son was being a complete jerk and trying to get her in trouble for something...it has been an age. WHere is Bree''s charming son now? I thought she put gay **** in the box when he was going to be sent to live with her parents and they did not want him then...

aussie, no worries...just it being in the title and all kind of makes it hard to ignore while you are just browsing topics!! i already knew that kyle was going to be suspected of killing his wife but i didn''t know if it was something ELSE i wasn''t supposed to know!?!? i had to sit on my hands to not actually read the rest of the thread. hahaa.
anyway we watched it.....SPOILER ALERT!!!!!.....
and all i have to say is that bree is so stupid! i mean last season she got hooked up with another crazee, can they stop making her the crazee magnet? but above and beyond that after her last experience with george, you think she''d do a little background check or something on the new dude before accepting his marriage proposal? ding ding?
also did anyone else get ''sleeping with the enemy'' deja vu feelings in the beginning when the wife was stacking the cans perfectly and putting the towels perfectly into the cabinets. eerietwilightzoneshowknockoffmusic. speaking of unoriginal...that is what struck me.
other than that...i really do love this show in general but the characters are starting to get a little stale for me. i mean how many times can gabrielle be super bitchy? we''ve seen it. how many times can tom, lynette''s husband be a total doormat? we''ve seen it. i was amazed he stuck up for her in that pinata scene.
and the body in the golf course construction? totally called it! come on writers...that''s no fun. and susan is supposed to be all dedicated to mike in the coma but they are already setting her up for a new romance? isn''t he supposed to be the love of her life? if you visit the guy every day in the hospital, you probably aren''t ready for a new guy right?!?!
i read that the writers were brought back from the first season or something and they were going to try to bring back the flavor everyone loved from season 1 since last year did not do so well, but who knows. time will tell!!

I just felt like finding the NEW body in the golf course felt WAY too much like when they discovered Mary Alice Young''s body in the trunk! And Orson feels a little too much like Paul Young. Just feel like we''re going in circles.

I think I''m over Desperate Housewives... it was entertaining when it first started and the concept was novel, but now it''s just getting more and more preposterous and like Anchor said, repetitive... like a regular day-time soap opera, of which I got my fill in high school! Plus there are so many other good things to watch... I think I may be officially pulling it out of my starting line-up...

I thought it was Deidre that they found in the trunk (Zach''s real mom)... Mary Alice shot herself in the first episode so there would be no reason for her to be in a trunk. I think the show is getting old too. As Mara said, it is just too stale and not even believable. The neighbor coming to warn her about this guy is exactly like George''s ex coming to warn her about him... and she still doesn''t listen! Stupid!

i know indecisive, the same thing happened with the last crazee guy, some gal came to warn her and she tossed her out of her house. deja vu bree? or did she get a lobotomy in the last 6 months too? eeeee.
the ring that orson gave her looked like a 3 stone oval to me. it''s funny because it looked small in the box but then he put it on her hand and it looked huge. funny camera angle i guess. i''m not really a 3 stone oval person so i didn''t love it but it looked sparkly. it looked like a large center oval and then either smaller ovals on the sides or rounds but i think it was ovals.

The whole Bree storyline engaged to the new guy who killed his wife is over the top again.
As for the ring, I had recorded it and watched it at 5am this morning when I was on my treadmill. Its a great way to watch, only takes 45 minutes when you skim by the commercials.
Anyway, of course I stopped the screen and zoomed in on the ring and its an oval with what I think are rounds on the side. They may have been oval sides. But the center was definately oval.
I like the simple classic 3 stone style.

I agree that much of it was stale and repetitive. I mean there is NO WAY Bree would get engaged so quickly after what happened last time. I did think it was kind of amusing how his cleaning obsession was seen as abusive by one wife but a turn on by Bree.
This show reminds me of Melrose Place because EVERY new character that they introduced has some horrible sinister plot up their sleeve. That is so boring.
So is that Alfee Woodard character off the show? I thought that story line was horrible. That''s when I started losing interest.
I wonder if they just put Mike in a coma because they had exhausted the story line with Susan and needed her to date someone else and they didn''t want to kill him off because they weren''t sure how people would feel about that? I don''t think we will watch this show much longer unless it gets better.

I rewound the part where Bree gets her ring about 4 times. It looked like an oval.
The show disappointed me. Everything is getting so ridiculous that I''m finding it hard to keep watching. The show has really gone downhill IMO. The thing with Bree marrying every psycho that comes along is getting so OLD. And they keep dragging the Susan/Mike thing out so long that I''m over it already. He was going to propose and gets run over by a car and into a coma? Put a fork in me. I don''t care if they ever get together at this point.

Hi Ladies! Like many of you, I adored D. Housewives during the 1st season. 2nd season was getting a little weird...haven''t cracked open the tivo''d season opener yet, but have read enough spoilers in entertainment mags to have gotten the gist of it.
Wanted to add that Sister Mary Bernard was actually sent to Alaska after Gabby told the priest she thought Carlos and the Sister were having a sexual affair. But I think the fight inside the sanctuary was really what got her kicked over to Alaska.
I''m most interested at how Xiao Mei is going to handle working for Gabby whilst pregnant and the mutual hate!
