I'm afraid if I did that we couldn't call her Lobby anymore, she'd have to be Becker.
The thing that put me over to actually place a bid is that we are having a big family reunion on cape cod next weekend, with a backyard lobsterfest scheduled for saturday. So not only do I have to win, but I need it to get here before then! after that we are going to little cranberry island, maine for a few days!

There's this ring that I found at the antique mall I work at along the same lines- also solid gold with diamond eyes. It's a very realistic turtle, and you can pop the shell open and there's a baby turtle inside. And the head, and legs, are hinged to wiggle as you move. Horrifying! I wish I'd gotten a picture, but it's sold- someone out there is now wearing it and loving it! It was HUGE- like from knuckle-to-knuckle huge.

The lobster... wow. It's very... lobstery.
