It''s here in Milan...

Ok, just checked out the other thread. RIDICULOUS! Utterly, amazingly ridiculous. I''ll trade you my house, my car, my three wonderful cats and my FF for the deco bracelet. I am so not kidding.

Harriet, Coati: your room is ready...

Gratzi!

Off topic:
Is burata a northern thing or southern?

Prego.

Burrata is Southern, but available pretty much anywhere in Italy.

(BTW - it''s grazie)

Harriet, Coati: your room is ready...

Merci! I''m bringing a dog and a very fat squirrel.

Is Fatty McFat the squirrel? Well, it''s used to dogs anyway. It''s just my dog that is not used to squirrels.

I have no reliable source for it here, and I could live on that stuff. Grazzie! ;)

Stoner,
You got a picture of that?

OMC,
What's the other stuff that's like burrata? Stra-something. Grazie (finally correct)!

Stracchino (pron Strah kee noh)? That's from near Milan...

I'd like to see a pic of a rodent gnawing bones.

Yes. I''ve never had the pleasure of tasting it. How is it different from Burrata?

Hm. Stracchino is less salty and all creamy/buttery in texture (it doesn''t have the "filled" effect of burrata). I don''t like it, but I''m not a great cheese gourmet.

(I wonder if this goes under pearls or man-created gems???

Sounds good to me.

He dropped it when I approached and tried to act all nonchalant. Fatty McFat!
