Anxious to get the engagement ring

Hi all,

Just posting how anxious I am to recieve my ering... it was ordered on 7/19 and I think it is coming on Wednesday according to my fiance to be..... he keeps leaving hints!!! I can't wait anymore and I will post pics when it comes!!

It is a 1.20 Radiant Cut
G color,
Si1 ( eye Clean)
It is in a 14k white gold setting with six princess cuts and 2 rounds total .48ctw...

I am not sure... he is sooo sneaky. It think that he will not be able to hold on to it...moslty because he knows how excited I am. I will post some pics asap when it is on my finger!!!

I am in exactly the same boat. I feel your pain! My stones are at the jewelers being set, but my boyfriend absolutely refuses to tell me how long it will take to get the ring back.

Once upon a time, i was considering a princess stone from Affinity (it was sold before i could get my hands on it) & that was the setting i was going to get - it's really beautiful! ...and i'm sure it'll be on your finger soon...!

Wow, do I understand your anxiety! It's been three weeks since my BF received the stone (he doesn't know that I know!) and I'm crawling the walls with anticipation!! Please let us know when it happens - we'd all love to hear about it while we sit and wait......and wait........

Yes, it is on the way as well! I just have no idea when it will be "presented"! Ahhhh! Hehe, it's fun though - the anticipation. Although I originally didn't want anything to do with the selection process (I love suprises) he sort of talked me in to be a part of it - seeing that it's a big purchase

Anyway, after searching around we selected a beautiful diamond + ring at Robbins Diamonds (Philly/Deleware). We live in Atlanta, but found that it was worth our trips to purchase from this place. He told me he placed the order on July 13th and it needed 3-4 weeks to be made. We just hit the 3rd week! It was mentioned that next week it might arrive, but I know he's got something planned...so I don't plan on getting it upon arrival. :/

Add another anxious girlfriend to the list

Nice to have you ladies to commiserate with, although it'll be at least a month until my ring is here! I bet I'll be the last standing (unless some other lucky girl joins us here in the meantime).

We picked out the diamond and the setting together, but he's taking care of the buying, appraising, setting, etc... so I'll have no idea what the status is until I get my ring!

The diamond (assuming he decides to keep the one we picked out after it's appraised): 1.2ct F SI1, ideal cut

The setting: a Tacori!!! I'm thrilled that we decided to get one of their designs, but they sadly take about 4 weeks to make, which is why I'll be here a while.

Sigh...

Love them. It is nice to be a part of it but it the anxiousness is killing me!!! I actually just found out that Fed Ex never picked it up last night so it will not be here until Thursday.

We are going to a concert Thursday night so I am sure it will not be then.... Friday for sure because we have a wedding on Saturday. I am glad I posted this thread, it is nice to know there are people out there as crazy as I am about this.

And there are levels of crazy according to an expansive chart that measures your involvement with how far out the proposal is and puts it against the surprise factor of the whole package. Hee hee.


The math is much too complicated for me. All I know is that there's an Emerald cut sitting either at a jeweler's or in my apartment and my anxiousness is through the roof!

I too am awaiting my e-ring and proposal.. Couldn't it just kill a person?
I believe my ring was ordered a week ago today.. (7/2. They had told us at the store it would take 2-3 weeks. I hope it is closer to 2 weeks and not more than 3! I attached a photo of my setting. Hope it works. It is A. Jaffe ME1279. My center stone is an heirloom european cut .95 ct SI2, I-J .. can't wait to post the REAL pictures!!! I don't know anything about what they are doing as far as side stones go, because I have not been allowed any information since my boyfriend got the stone. Its driving me nutty!
I will keep everyone posted and I hope everyone else does the same
