Any disadvantages to an eye clean SI1? i.e. fire, light etc.

Hi,

I have seen an E SI1 ex ex ex, that looks beautiful. I searched the diamond for some time and could not spot the inclusion (it was a twinning wisp).

I then checked with a 10x loupe and still could not spot it. The dealer took some time to locate with the loupe (others he found very quickly, even VS2s). Even when he told me where it was I could not spot it with the loupe.

Eventually under 30x i could spot it, but again even knowing its exact spot I could not locate it with my eye. I cant get images for you guys but the inclusion is not black and is not in the table (its near the crown). Are there any other disadvantages to this inclusion. Its SI1 but eye clean so seems very good value compared to other potentials

This diamond scores well with its spec on the HCA tool, but are there any other disadvantages to an SI1 twinning wisp I should be aware of?

Nope. As far as I know, twinning wisps are very benign inclusion type.

Ditto...my holy grail is finding a totally eye clean (to my own standards) SI1....
