Any thoughts/comments on this 2.02 IF Princess?

I am considering this center stone for a 20th anniversary new enggement ring:

Sort of a romantic notion that after 20 years of putting up with me, my wife is flawless...

Plus I collect rare coins, so love rarity, and an IF diamond is rarer.

Because ill be honest an if gets lost in the facets and sparkle of a princess. I think its really best showcased in a step cut like an asscher. Still square though so something to consider

If I were buying a princess cut and had no previous experience, I would purchase an AGS stone. They are the only lab currently grading Princess for light performance. Buying blind you may find comfort in knowing that the stone has already been evaluated for performance. I would contact WF GOG or Brian Gavin diamonds and let them know what you are looking for. They will do a great job at being your 'eyes' and helping you select a perfect stone for your wife.

I usually attempt to steer people away from purchasing high clarity stones, but since you are aware that you could find a stone that appeared flawless to the naked eye without the added premium but prefer to purchase something as flawless as your wife...I say go for it! I think that she will appreciate the sentiment and though others won't know that it's a perfectly flawless stone, the two of you will and I think that is sort of a cool thing to share.

I love that setting! I don't know much about princess cuts, so I can't weigh in on the stone. I can't wait to see your finished ring!
