Yes, it is as an EGL USA stone - is it a no go zone? FI found it online...the price is so tempting...

I thought this stone was an EGL USA stone?

It is.

Dinamit to the best of my knowledge if you want to pursue this one the vendor might be able to get an IS image, that would be the next step.

Apologies Lorelei and Stone-cold, the angles are on the EGL cert, I just saw the % first as they are more obvious. The angles are as follows:

crown: 33.2
pavillion: 40.4

Here are the other stats again:
1.17ct 6.87 x 6.8 x 4.12
Depth: 60.3
Table: 58
thin to medium faceted
cut: ideal plus
symmety and polish: vert good

Thanks, like I say it could be ok but an Idealscope is really needed to check it out as before and also to check that the diamond doesn't darken at close scrutiny which can happen with shallower angled diamonds, the vendor should be able to provide one on request. I would rather go with the GIA diamond personally. So thats the next step is to try to get an Idealscope for each as we can't tell anything else really by the numbers.

Quick update: I met with Indira this afternoon and she is lovely, just as everyone said. It didn''t help that my baby wasn''t in the mood for diamond shopping and was sick on one of the chairs in Indira''s office

We will meet again next week when I can view more stones and in peace.

I also managed to see the GIA stone using her idealscope and it looked good, no leakage. FI says the vendor of the EGL won''t or can''t supply an image, so it''s out of the picture...

Thanks for all your help, and I look forward to sharing my soon-to-be new Infinity with you
