Any weekend plans?

I have been traveling for 3 weeks straight!! First NY, then Mexico, then Nebraska. I finally get home yesterday and realized…oh man I have to go to work tomorrow! Grrr It took Mr. Fiery 5 tries to wake me up this morning.

So needless to say I am counting down the hours till I get to go home. I’m trying to convince Mr. Fiery to drive to the keys tomorrow just for a day. I’m in the mood to be by the water but don’t want to go to the beach.

What are your plans?

Not too much, beach on Saturday and a wedding shower Sunday! So many wedding showers... I can''t wait till I get to have one

I have a very fun girls' afternoon out planned for Sunday. BF's sister, BF's cousin, my BFF, and I are meeting at my place for drinks then heading to a concert! BF and I are going out to eat tonight (nothing fancy - a home cooking place near his house), and tomorrow will be spent cleaning my house in preparation for Sunday. Most of all, I'm just glad it's the weekend!!

By the way, I've done the long business trip back-to-back thing before, and it's absolutely exhausting. No matter if you end up at the beach or not, find a place where you can kick back and relax!

Tonight a friend is getting her nips pierced Then we''re making burgers on the grill... and chilling. Hopefully I get to see some movies, we have 9 free movie tickets right now so, we''re going to see Wanted, Handcock, Hellboy 2.. and I''m soooo excited for The Dark Knight woowee! (I''m a movie buff, and own too many thousands of dollars worth of movies

BF and I are going out with another couple tonight for dinner and drinks.

The rest of it will be spent doing homework, most likely.

I''m sick. So I''m going to spend it sleeping. And Sunday I get to do homework. I know, I know. You guys are MADLY jealous of my weekend.

Today a friend of mine from London is coming in for the weekend, en route to Micronesia. I hope the Chicago weather will cooperate (yeah RIGHT!) She''s staying with another friend, but is coming to my place this afternoon since I work from home, and otherwise she''d be camped out at Starbucks! Couldn''t do that to the girl! Anyway, might do dinner with her tonight (not sure what her plans are) & FI, then FI & I are going to watch a movie (Wall-E).

Tomorrow, with said friend, we''re meeting up @ noon doing brunch, then depending on the weather, either hitting Lincoln Park Zoo if it''s nice, or a museum or a build your own jewelry place. We''re kinda dorky and like stuff like that.

BF and I were going to go camping...but because of recent events, fires and to much smoke in the air - BF has really bad allergies, we will not be going away to camp...Insead...backyard camping. BBQing a few Tri-Tip, drinking some beer, play some music, really big fire...it will be fun...and if we get so inspired....we will bring out the slip and slide...we are big kids at heart!!!

I''ve got my whole family coming into town this weekend (three little brothers, each of their girlfriend, and parents)! Yikes, lots of people for a tiny apartment!

One little bro and his girl are coming tonight, and we''re heading to the Tigers game in about an hour.

The rest of the fam is arriving in the morning, and we''re heading to the Tigers game (yes, two in row! Gotta love baseball)

Then on Sunday I''m leaving for a conference for the week. So I won''t be posting - don''t worry, I didn''t fall of the face of the earth, and I''ll be back next weekend

WALL-E was the cutest movie ever!! The FF and I LOVED It!!

We just drove down to his parents house for the weekend (we had to drive down our old bed because we upgraded to king ) and have our crazy cats with us.. although they were awesome in the car.. not so awesome at 7am bcuz they wake up and drive us nuts! grrr

Anyways I hope maybe we are going to go to the beach tomorrow or I asked FF if we could go to the WPB Gardens Mall bcuz I secretly wanted to go to the Tiffanys there.. hahaha!!

And back home on SUnday... woohoo!! Hope everyone has a great weeekend!

We''re going to wine country for a whole day of wine tasting! So I have to be good tonight bc having tasting wine with a hangover takes all the joy out of it.

Tonight C and I are going to see The Spazmatics with some friends. It''s an 80''s cover band that I want to play at my reception, in the future, and this will be the first time C has ever seen them. *fingers rossed* Tomorrow will probably be cleaning in the morning, mani/pedi around noon, and then on the lake hopefully. Sunday is ususally nothing exciting, maybe down to Galveston beach for lunch and some walking in the sand.

SO and I will be going to flea markets/yard sales all weekend. It''s his thing and we don''t go that often and the weather is actually cooperating, so I figured it would be nice for him. He loves finding old/rare video games and video game systems and reselling them on ebay.

I used to think he was crazy. But he''s actually made a lot of money doing it... and I think it gives him an excuse to buy and test (aka play) old systems without admitting that he isn''t a grown up.

He takes me to look at kitties at the shelter after we go, though... which I''m pretty sure makes him the sweetest guy ever.
