I couldnt fit all the nearby cities into the thread title, so what I'm looking for are some of the better gem shows that may be coming to my general vicinity over the next 4 months or so. That would include Philadelphia, Baltimore, MD, Wilmington DE, etc. Basically anywhere in the quad-state region including De, Pa, Nj, Md.

Is there a complete list of ALL the better gem shows?

Thanks, Patrick...

Sometimes I get postcard notification of gem shows in NYC, NJ and MD (Timonium near Baltimore - did I spell that correctly?). I don't recall anything in PA.

Intergem will be at the following loc:

TIMONIUM, MD • Maryland State Fairgrounds June 29-July 1

which is about 14 miles north from the center of Baltimore. I've not been to Intergem, so I'm not sure how good a show it is....but I'm thinking of going to check it out.

Intergem is great here (West coast), though we don't have all the same sellers as you on the East coast.

Intergem is also scheduled to be at KOP Sept 21-23. I think I may try and make this one....

You said KOP. By that do you mean King of Prussia, Pa?

Patrick: why don't you google "Intergem?" All the information will show up and you can find a schedule of their shows. That way, you don't have to rely on the knowledge of those here, which might be incomplete...

I will do that, but prior to just reading these recent posts this morning, I didnt know what Intergem was. In fact, I still dont really know what Intergem is, other than that their name has been used here when describing gem shows, so I assume they set them up or something.

I was just looking for a complete listing of gem shows by whoever happens to know of one. I assume there are different companies or organizations that sponsor these things, and I was hoping to find a complete list of all those organizations and all their shows.

I went to one several years ago, that I assumed was going to be a primarily faceted gem show, but it ended up being semi-semi-precious stones made into fairly cheap jewelry, like quartz, turquoise etc.

I think you will be pleased once you look it up. The other that comes to my area is I believe, Gem Faire. These are smaller and are geared more towards beads and crystal rough.

I do think once you look up Intergem your questions will be answered =)

Yes - KOP = King of Prussia  Have fun!
