HI there, newbie here. I've searched through the forum and groomed through the sticky for trusted sources of gems but did not see Tanzanite.com there. I am curious if anyone has purchased from there and what the experience was like? I already did a google search but wanted to see if there are any stories here. I am in search of the "perfect" Tanzanite for me

Thanks for replying. Yeah I saw that but the dates are several years old and perhaps they have improved? I got in touch with the company and so far they have been quick in their responses. I guess it still might be a gamble though since there is not much information on them and the "good reviews" on them sound like they wrote them.

True, thanks for the reply. I guess I was really hoping for a princess cut (bad idea?) and Lapigems do not have any, however I do love their quality.

Princess cut is generally a bad idea for any coloured gemstone. Being softer than diamonds, the 4 pointy corners are more prone to chipping, which says a lot when I read of numerous chipped princess cut diamonds in the Rocky Talky section of Pricescope. Worse yet, tanzanite is a gem variety that needs more care than others.
