Wow, I am amazed at how strongly people feel about V-day!
When I was single, I called it self-indulgence day. I would tell everyone I cared about how much I loved them, then I would do whatever I wanted, including eat cookies or chocolate for breakfast, or spend an extravagant amount making a meal to share with friends... I would dress up and basically remember to love ME, because I''m pretty cool!Even when I had a bf that basically did nothing for V-day, I celebrated Self-Indulgence day and had the best V-day ever (pre-current BF)! Actually, I think I will start doing that again, since SO and I rarely spend V-day together.
I guess I like creating my own traditions... not much of a traditionalist...
