I really like the size of it..does anyone have this particular handbag? Other than the Louis Vuitton website, is there anywhere else it can be purchased? This lady doesn''t look like she''s willing to part with it..so I guess I gotta find my own! Thanks

That''s the Tivoli GM. I have that bag. There''s been a waiting list for it here for quite some time. It''s a great size.

A waiting list..really? wow..there are so many different styles I wonder what makes this one so special? LOL. I have the large bucket style, but wanted a change. Thanks Ladies!

It''s called $35.00 on the streets of NYC, OKAY? I am kidding. Get on that waiting list. You owe it to yourself. I am all about getting exactly what you want in life. Don''t settle!

I like the part about "Don't settle." That comment really rings true in my case.

I made the mistake of getting a fake LV. BUT before anyone flames me for it, note that I couldn't stand the idea of carrying a fake purse -- any more than I can stomach the idea of a CZ in an engagement ring -- so I never let it leave the house. (Fortunately, I got my money back.)

Over the course of the following year, I made the mistake of buying less expensive alternatives by Dooney & Bourke. And then another. And another. Now I have a whole collection of Dooney & Bourke and if I had saved the money I spent trying to find less expensive substitutes, I could have bought an LV! (Not that DBs are bad -- the quality is actually very good. Regardless, a few of them will be hitting Ebay soon.)

It all started because I hail from a sensible middle class background and couldn't see myself spending so much on a PURSE.

(Unlike diamonds, handbags aren't forever, LOL.) While I was busy searching for less ostentatious substitutes, the LV I had my eye on went up in price at least three times (a $100+ hike over what I could have paid little over a year ago). If I thought their prices were excessive to begin with, they're certainly over the top now.

Moral to the story? If your arm itches, don't scratch your foot.

BTW: On a more serious note, beware of LV on Ebay. There are a ton of fakes out there. I agree with the other post -- buy on eLuxury.com. Nobody else is authorized to sell the brand, and if you buy through eLuxury you may be able to save the sales tax, which may not sound like much except that they never go on sale so this is as close to a discount as you are going to find on a genuine LV. Plus, by shopping on eLuxury.com, you get to skip the notoriously snooty SAs. (Been reading the horror stories online. That's one way to cure an LV hankering. Yikes!)

What a gorgeous bag!! Putting it down on my wish list
