AceP: Actually I have been to the USVI a few times and loved it. And one of my friends who will be attending the wedding lived there for years. Another close friend loves St. Croix and in particular the resort where we are having the wedding. And we did not want folks to worry about having a passport, so the USVI was a no-brainer. Have you been there before?
ETA: We were originally thinking to hold the wedding somewhere in the Florida Keys, but only after further research did I learn that area is not known for its beaches and I wanted a beach wedding. So we did a bit more thinking and talking to people and came up with the USVI.
