I've the Cartier trinity rolling rings, second thickest band width. I've lost weight and wish to size it from 56 to 53. I assume that's doable. My concern is after the resize, if it still roll smoothly like before? Usually we resize single band, but this is 3 bands and intertwined. Can anyone who has experience with a resized rolling ring please help? Thank you.

I was under the impression they were not size able, but I'd call Cartier and ask.

Hi, well I do have a tri-color trinity band that was my moms. It was custom made in Woodstock NY so definitely NOT a Cartier by any means. But it is sturdy and beautiful. Anyway, I did have my local jeweler resize each band after mom passed so I could wear it. He sized it up and it is terrific! I cannot tell where it was cut and gold added. It was a great investment to me to have it done. Of course they charged for three separate bands so it was a bit costly.
I would ask Cartier. I am sure they could do it, whether they would I don't know, but it can be done.

I got a quote before and it was really expensive. I think I concluded it was cheaper to sell and buy a new one.

Charmy, thanks for sharing. I forgot about their cost.

Want to swap? ;)

I wouldn't size because the size is written on the inside of the ring so I would think that changing it's size would cause it to lose value on the 2nd hand market. Not that you plan to sell it ever, but that combined with the expense of sizing 3 ring correctly would stop me doing it.

As it was a sentimental gift, I can't sell or swap unfortunately. I'm still wondering how I can wear that ring as the husband has been asking why I haven't been wearing it. Love it but it rolls right off my fattest finger, unless I wear it on my thumb.
