Hi Everyone,
Been lurking in this community for a long time and finally feel like I have something "worthy" to share.
After struggling with infertility for a few long years, my wife and I are finally expecting and the new addition is due in March. Since Aquamarine is March's birth stone, I wanted an Aquamarine/Diamond three stone ring to mark the special occasion.
We are US expats currently working and living in China so it's been hard to find anything that's up to quality standard here compared to what I'm used to. When we lived in the States, I often worked with a local craftsman jeweler for my pieces, but that's very hard to find here in China. After searching everywhere, I finally found a dependable local custom jeweler with great quality work.
After some planning and searching online, I bought an emerald cut Aquamarine cut by Ben Kho and a matched pair of emerald cut diamonds from the US. My mom then brought the stones over when she visited in October, and my new local jeweler has finally got them set in a setting that I requested. I haven't received the ring yet, but she just sent me some photos of the finished product and I'm very happy with how it turned out.
The 2 diamonds represent me and my wife, and the Aquamarine represents the new baby. I also had the jeweler etch "and baby makes three" in the inside of the band. Can't wait to pick up the ring and give it to her!
