Aquamarine signature pendant

I have one more thing I''ve been brewing that I want to share. It''s an aquamarine pendant, made by Sally at Heart of Water Jewels. The aqua is one of my first purchases in gemstones, and one of my favorites. It glows in low lighting, I can''t wait to see it, it hasn''t been sent my way yet.

The aqua is very included, but the color is gorgeous.

Picture head on, it even has a surface reaching inclusion, but did survive setting

WOW look at the colour! It almost looks like an Apatite it''s so blue! I love the setting and that it''s an East/West. Did Sally take any front, head on shots, that you can share?

She did, but said the inclusions look huge, so I opted out on seeing them. It stings to wait, but I prefer it this way. I want to see the pendant first with my own eyes. I don''t know if you''ve noticed how huge everything looks in their pictures, I was really surprised at how detailed and petite things are once I saw them in real life.

Hey I just saw that pendant on her etsy site, and I, too, was frustrated that there was no head-on shot! I had no idea it was yours, but enjoyed reading about all the special details that went into it. And the photos on etsy did not do justice to the color of your aqua - it''s quite a deep, rich color. I can see why you love it, despite a less than favorite cut. Can''t wait to see your photos once you receive it!

That aquamarine has fabulous colour and in a pendant, no one will see the inclusions unless they get way close to your bosom.

The lotus detail is lovely too.

Thank you for all of your lovely lovely comments. I''m so stoked about this one!!! I thought I''d wait to buy this when Sally finishes a ring of mine with a mali garnet, but it will be ten days! I could have the pendant hanging around my neck by that time...

cellentani Yeah, those symbols just make it all the more special. I didn''t know the lotus was a symbol of flourishing through adversity, but having a ten month old whose slept about two whole nights her whole life, and a toddler makes me feel I deserve it

I think it will be another two weeks, because Sally is making me a ring that I want to add to the same package, and then it takes about a week for it to get here... Gah, I can''t wait!!!

I''m hoping it will work once I see them all together, that it will be a killer combo. I think the silver filigree will tie it all together. I really trust Sally in these things.

Beautiful, beautiful pendant. Love the stone and the setting. Who cares about the inclusions? They add interest and personality, and remember, colored stones are all about the color. That one is just beautiful!
