Definitely, my father. I have his height (or rather lack of!:(, lol), his skin, his hair (very soft and not as thick my my mother's which is typical Asian hair), his eyes, nose, mouth and smaller-frame overall.

I'm also very academic like he is and also multi-lingual like he is. My mother was (she's passed away now) very smart but never had the chance of acquire a formal education.

I used to have my mother's temper!:lol:. But now that I'm older, am a lot more chilled - or so I've been told.

Dad's facial features with my mother's skin tone and hair color. My sister is a mini version of my mother, don't see any of my father in her at all :lol:
 
My Dad...his facial feathers, brown hair color, body etc. The only thing I got from my Mom was green eyes (dad has brown). My 2 brothers take after my
Mom, lighter color, blond hair etc except they got my Dads brown eyes.

My personality is a mix of the two but my mind is more like my Dads (more logical than Mom).
 
I like this thread DF thanks for actually starting one that isn't contentious. (Yet) Hahaha.

I am a clone of my dad basically appearance wise when he was younger though I did not get his blue eyes nor his height (he is 6'4" or rather was as he is shrinking a bit sadly) and I am the shortest one in my immediate family at 5'6".

However my personality is more my mom's in almost every way. Except I am super conservative i.e. risk adverse like my dad and I have his sense of humor. So I do have bits of both their personality.

Photo from 1963 which I have shared on PS before but shows exactly what I am talking about appearance wise. I am very similar appearance wise to my dad here and my sister is a clone of my mom.

I don't look like either of my parents but I do look a lot like my oldest brother (18 years older than me).

Hopefully there isn't a Jack Nicholson type conspiracy at play :lol-2:.

Funny you mention the personality part, I look like a mix of my parents but occasionally I will say something that makes me say to myself 'holy crap I just sounded like my father...'

It seems to usually happen when I yell. I was a good kid, honest...... :saint::lol:

Haha, it's funny how we seem to inherit certain traits from our parents.

Apparently, I tend to repeat myself quite a bit and my mum used do it all the time!:lol:
 
Dad: hair that is thick and curly/wavy, but started graying young
Mom: built like her, basic resemblance
Both: blue eyes, fair skin that freckles
 
I'm a mix. I got my dad's tall frame and big skull :lol: The features on the top half of my head (eyes, brow, and forehead) are 100% my dad's: heavy-lidded/"Bette Davis eyes" and a prominent browbone that I share with all my cousins on my dad's side. My nose, mouth, and chin are exactly my mom's, just on a bigger head. I didn't get either of their eye color: dad had brown and mom has blue, but mine are olive green. I got my mom's dirty blonde hair.

Personality-wise, I'm much more like my dad.
 
I look like my dad, and have his genetics I guess, as I have the same illnesses that he had. I am the only green eyed child though. Brother had blue eyes, sister has hazel. Parents were both blue-green.
 
I look more like my maternal grandfather/ mother, with some personality traits of my father but also of my maternal grandmothers brother. Figure that one out.

A mixture of both. I have my mums colouring, very dark hair, skin that tans easily (she has olive skin & only has to look at the sun to tan), pointy chin and large full lips. I have my dads sky blue eyes, large nose & sense of dirty toilet humour. My mum is also short & very petite, but I am tall, broad shouldered & athletic like my dad was (he died 16 years ago). I am a total hybrid!

Ok, I take that back...I DO NOT have my Dad's facial feathers! Excuse the typo that I didnt catch until it was too late. I am in no part bird but I'm sure
I've been accused of being bird-brained a time or two!:lol-2:
 
I would have to say my dad. The only thing I got from my mom appearance wise is her height
 
Growing up I told my parents it was ok to tell me I'm adopted. I didn't think I looked like either one. I now realize I look like my dad but I'm blonde with blue eyes and pale while he had black hair, brown eyes and olive skin. My mom had my color but no resemblance. It took a b/w photo to see myself in my dad.

Dad. Sadly - because mom had the combination of prettiness, smarts and also, very high social IQ. In this country, she 'd be a politician or a CEO, in the SU, she invested into her husband (who achieved).
 
Its funny how a lot of us females resemble our fathers.

I do have a daughter and she does resemble me more so than her dad but I do see both of us in her.
 
I look like my biological dad's sisters and mother. I have my mother's height. I have my stepdad's attitudes, way of thinking, and coffee habit. :D
 
I look just like my mother, I see it myself and sometimes it's scary. I have my father's complexion, terrible eye sight, temper, assertiveness, body type, eyebrows and random body freckles from him too. Besides my mother's face I also have naturally perfectly aligned teeth (like she has). My hair is a perfect mixture of both parents. Almost 100% of my socialization, early perspectives, and academic goals were extensions of my mother... She raised my sister and I solo.

OK after looking through some old photos I can definitively say I favor the dog over everyone else. The resemblance is undeniable.

I am a clone of my mom, looks, stature, quirks, etc. In fact, the older I get the more I am like her! Not a bad thing because she is pretty awesome.

All 3 of my kids resemble me (blonde, blue eyes) but have their father's height. Good thing because I am 5'2" and he's 6'8" lol. My youngest daughter is a clone of me except for height. Literally can't tell baby pics apart except I am the one in 70s clothing!

@missy Your comment had me laughing out loud and nothing could be further from the truth. I remember you saying what a sweetheart the dog was. So you definitely got your sweet disposition from him. You look your dad!
