Are you on any other LIW lists?

I just found out the other day that there are other boards that have LIW lists. I'm not sure if it's against PS rules or not to say the other boards' names, so I guess a "yes" or "no", or "yes, I'm on # LIW lists.." would do!





Moi? This is my only list. I had only found out about other lists on the net. I don't plan on joining any other lists now.

This is the only one I'm on. I know of another board, and though of joining, but a lot of the veteran posters seem to beat down on newbies. So, I don't plan on venturing over there anytime soon.

I don't think it's against policy to mention the other "wedding planning" sites as they're regularly linked to over in BWW. I think Wedding Bee has a list, but I don't plan on joining.

I have lurked a bit (and posted some) at wedding bee but didn't join their list. They talk very positively about sims there which didn't cater to my taste so eventually I stopped frequenting as much. They do have a lot of good wedding ideas though so I may revisit again in a yearish of so

MBKRH - WHAT? I haven't seen anyone "beat down" newbies? That's horrible! Haha, I can swear THEY, over there, think that WE'RE elitists due to the non-sim talk!

I've been lurking around because I've been searching for advice on how to cut wedding costs, and it lead me to that particular list. They have a lot more posters and a lot more movement. I'm hoping we can bring in more LIWs and posters by creating more movement here on this LIW board.

It's a snowball effect. Less posts = less people joining = less posts = less people joining and more people getting "kicked off" the list for not updating + all the "graduated" LIWs leaving = dead LIW section.

well half of those of us who have posted more frequently the last few months have already moved on from LIW!!! but yes, I agree...it'd be nice if the non-sparkly sides of the forum got some more attention too! just because we are sparkle-whores doesn't mean we aren't girly girls who have all these wedding ideas we need to hash out..

Hopefully we'll get some new members soon. I'll do my best to recruit. I have a friend or two that have been with their men for quite some time, and are definite LIW candidates.

Lol i love your dedication, but think about it a bit before "recruiting"! I like the anonymity away from friends, and that I have this safe haven to come to for my crazy LIWitis, without my friends' knowledge!

I agree with madelise. I like having this place to myself. Andrew knows I post here and my best friend does as well, but aside from that, it's mine, all mine and I like it that way.

Everyone knows I like wearing a few pieces of bling, but I don't talk about it to many, and I don't ever flaunt that they're real or anything. If I get compliments, I answer with a simple "thank you". I don't want people KNOWING that I'm really a crazy person They can think it all they want…. but PS would confirm it

i haven't joined any other boards, mostly because I LOVE PS. I get sadden when I can't use it. and I took an almost 2 year break after my fiance left me two years ago...

I like that I can vent here; and be a little crazy, if people knew how crazy i really was, it may not be that good haha

I had a look at the one mentioned in this thread.. its very big! I quite like how ~personal~ things feel over here, if you know what I mean!

There are definitely a lot of posts over there. I get a bit overwhelmed too. I usually just try to focus on one section at a time. I really love that they have a whole section Elopements and usually just read there.
