It completely depends on what other task I''m doing. But, in trying to stay with the thought behind the thread, I''d say I use my left hand the majority of the time.

I''m right handed, right eyed, left brained.

This reminds me of a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where Larry gets in trouble for "talking lefty" which he always messes up.

I also play some sports lefty--I kick with my left in soccer, and I'm a southpaw when I box. But I play baseball righty, as well as hockey.
Maybe I'm just confused.

Exactly!

I also don't have full motion of my left elbow, so bending it far enough to hold a phone to my ear is very uncomfortable and/or impossible (depending on the day).

I maintain that it has far more to do with the physical act of holding the phone than which ear you favor. I don't think I favor an ear, I'll hold my head up to something whichever way makes the most sense for the rest of my body positioning. If someone's holding a phone up to my ear (while I'm cooking or whatever), it's whichever ear is closest to them.

Left ear for the cell and the right ear for the work line...just because thats the side where my phone is.....
otherwise...its the speaker phone.
