Not for me, but for a family I have known for years. When I was 8 years old in my calisthenics team, a teammate (also died in a terrible car accident. None of the rest of her family were hurt.

There was a horrific hit and run in our city a few days ago, killing a 24-year-old celebrating his birthday. I read the article in the paper to discover that this man was the brother of the girl who died at age 8.

I''ve been howling since I found out. I can''t get it out of my head the torture that her parents are going through. They now have no children.

I can''t sleep. Please send your good thoughts and prayers to this poor, poor family.
