Asscher From GemConcepts : code name Mildred

I believe I have reached a good point with the deconstruction. At least it makes me happy for now instead of shelling out for a custom setting when I don’t really know what I want. But I can see where a delicate carved Edwardian or Victorian setting would work well.
Thank you for letting me share.
Forgive any smudges on my hand from working on the ring. The old lady hand I can’t apologize for :lol-2:

Well done @Jimmianne! Love what you did... Love the contast between the stone and band, it looks great!

You did a nice job. I like the look of the added texture! :appl:

I love the stone and what you have done with the setting is so cool!

Tekate, thanks. I never know if things are going to look better or worse, so I got lucky this time : )

@Jimmianne I love the contrast you’ve created between the precision cut diamond and it’s setting with your artistic hand. It’s really a beautiful combination.

@Jimmianne I think you may have missed your vocation in life. You could give DK a run for his money if you keep this up!

Your "deconstruction" looks fantastic! And I think the texture makes one of the most beautiful asschers I've ever seen look even more amazing!

You may well be a craftsman in the making! The stone would look beautiful in almost anything but I really love the contrast. Great eye!!

Wow, you guys are so nice. Thank you for the positive feedback!
