AVC bezel studs anyone?

I had my second piercing redone right before Christmas. The studs that are in there right now are smallish CZ bezels. I'm liking the look and the size is perfect. I measured them, still in my ears, with bezel they are about 4mm. (Do you know how hard it is to measure something with calipers that is in your ear? ( the piercer said don't take the earrings out for 6-8 weeks so I'm scared to remove the stud even to measure! )
I'm thinking I might like AVC bezels when I can change them.
My question does anyone have tiny AVC bezels?
Any pics?
Also I'm probably going to go Rose Gold does anyone have Rose gold from GOG?

I have AVC bezel studs, but they may be bigger than what you are looking for. I have never been able to get any good ear shots of them, but am attaching the glamor shots from when they were first set. I chose milgrain bezel studs from Brian Gavin because I find that their bezel work is just deliciously delicate.

sweet_blossom, yssie, mom2boys--thanks! Yes, I have totally been holding out on you! I actually got these set almost 2 years ago and never started a thread for them. I just hate terrible ear shots so tend to avoid at all cost...

From what I recall, these AVCs are 1.12 and 1.16, K & Ls, VS1 & SI1 respectively. They definitely had a touch of warmth when unset, but I think they work perfectly for studs. It was surprisingly challenging to find a matching pair of AVCs in terms of color and L-W ratio. I used to have a pair of AVRs, but ended up trading them in towards this pair because I found that the AVRs didn't look all that different from MRBs when worn on the ears. But the AVCs definitely have a different look (and flash) than typical round studs.

I can just imagine how bedazzlingly bright they must be IRL... and honestly, I wouldn't have guessed they were Ks from your pics, they photograph whiter! I can also imagine that matching outline, size, and colour wasn't easy but oh it was worth the effort

I am curious - what do you think of AVC melee for baby bezels like SL is considering? I love the bigger bezels because you can really appreciate the unusual shape and light play from afar, but in melee sizes... Do they have that same effect?

Thanks DS (LOVE, love, love your new AVR, by the way!), Sparkelu, and Sweet_Blossom. Yssie--I completely agree that they photograph (and appear IRL) much whiter than K/Ls! I also think that the chunky facets of the AVC help counter warmth so well because you just see these bold flashes of light. Quite a nice distraction from the color!

I have a wedding band with AVCs and AVRs, each stone is about .25-.3 carats, and I think that the stones are still large enough to see the shape and fabulous light play. But I wonder myself whether you would have this same effect in the melee sizes. At some point, the stones might be small enough to be hard to distinguish in shape and the faceting might not be as obvious? I bet that AVC melee would still be brilliant and beautiful, but I do question whether you would really see the shape so clearly as to make it worth using AVCs. I might have missed a few posts, but I can't think of anyone who has a piece made with really small AVCs or AVRS??

Those earrings are amazing LS!!!

I have an AVC five stone with .28s. They are so much fun to look at and I definitely notice the difference between them and say a MRB. But that's arm length away. Honestly, I'm not sure the unique faceting would be noticeable in that size in an earring. Of course, if that's what you love than go right ahead (and post lots of pictures!).

The stones in my wedding band are this size and I can definitely see a difference between the AVCs, AVRs, in terms of both shape and faceting, and they look quite different than modern cuts (to me, at least). I think you'll love bezeled AVCs of this size. The bezel will also help define the cushion shape.

Can't wait to see what you end up with.
