No not yet, hubby paints this weekend but I do have my 2 cribs and a changing table. Thank you DS!!! I will post when we are finished but I kept losing this thread and had a hard time finding it so I decided to bump it. I also bumped it in hopes other preggos would post their nurseries for inspiration and its just super fun to see how everyone decorated!!

Question for nursery decorators, Can you guys/gals fill me in on low VOC or no VOC paint? Is this a super paranoid thing? Also we're still TTCing so no babies in the picture at all.

re: low VOC paint... a lot of people love the colors/paint from Mythic. Land of Nod uses it in their rooms and might even sell it. I love one of their baby blues... would love to use it somewhere in the house at some point. We didn't use anything special for J's room but it also was painted well over a year before he was born.

I came here to look for inspiration for our nursery for DD #2. DD1's was primarily soft pink with green accents - natural crib furniture,etc. The new nursery will inherit the furniture, but I'd like to change the colors up a bit so there is something new/individual.
Any suggestions on color schemes that involve pink as an accent only? I can't do the green as we have alot of green in the house, and same with yellow.

I was thinking of pale blue which you see alot of in PBK, but will that be too boyish? We can also keep the walls a soft white and work with other colors or try lavendar, but then that would mean abandonng pink (and the ability to use any of DD's bedding). The 2 girls' rooms will be right next to each other so can be viewed at the same time.
EEk, overwhelmed already!

PS I love the nurseries here - and all the esty decals - definitely on my list to research!

janine- I LOVE pale blue and pink- I think if the blue is pale enough and there are pink accents it won't be too boyish at all

Thanks jcarly - I wish I could take credit for those stickies, but the people we are renting from actually had two little girls back to back and left those up when they left, so we got lucky. It just happened to work really well with our theme and color scheme, so I guess it was meant to be

Could really use some nursery decorating advise. I just can't seem to find anything that matches our custom bedding from ButterCupForest on esty. Attached is a picture of the bedding. We will use white sheets and we have the sarah graco crib.

Does anyone have suggestions for paint color, prints or stuff to put on the wall and other little extras. I feel like I just can't see the bigger picture here.

Thanks AMC- I do like those letters a lot but I was hoping to stay away from hanging letters. See what I mean I'm just not sure what to do!

Oh that is doable. No we have no theme. I wanted something sort of whimiscal though.

Ok I think I shot myself in the foot here with getting the custom bedding before having a real idea of what I would like to do with my nursery. Anyhow I need honest opinions. What does everyone think of these put together. I want to tone down the bedding and have it be a little bit more whimiscal.

I thought I could find some lime green accents around the room to tie everything in...thoughts?
