FI just sent me a request for a bachelorette party dress, and I''m waaay to busy to dedicate a ton of time to it today, so I thought I''d pass the request along to the the girls here and ask for help...

Here''s the email:

If you have a chance, I would love help finding a sexy/hot outfit for my bach party. Prefereably in all white, but colors are fine too if nothing else.

I want a short mini dress or mini skirt with a hot/sexy top. XS/0/P as always.

I am probably one of the least stylish women on this site, so I''m sure many other more stylish women will chime in. Having said that, when I am having a bad day at work I often run over to BCBG and try on very cute mini-dresses for which I would never have an occasion to wear. I think BCBG is great for petite women and they always have really cute cocktail dresses. I planned to post a few of my favorite white ones, but to be honest there are too many to post, so I''m just giving the general link.

I have to admit, when I read this post I chuckled a bit--if I were to put my husband in charge of finding me something cute and sexy it would be hilarious! I''d be going out in hiking gear...which is actually fitting. Have fun! Whatever she chooses, I have no doubt she''ll look great!

if so, I really like this dress...I have actually seen it online at saks before....I think I may have linked someone else on here to it...anyway, if you zoom in, the white is polkadots, which is the only downside, I would check it out in person, aside from that, I really like it, the shoes and all.

As for that nordstrom dress...I didn''t even realize it was a junior size....so I don''t know how those sizes run.

Did you guys find anything at the store tonight?

Thanks Golden... Here''s the update... so FI was on a deadline at work last night and worked until about 10... So I left work at 4 and went to about a dozen stores looking for a dress for her... I went to saks, and they didn''t have that dress in the Boston store at all... So went to Neiman... nothing... then i drove out of Boston to Natick, to some giant mall where there is a Nordsrtom and another Neiman... I literally spent 3 hours in the mall, and was on my way out empty handed and found a Marciano (which I''d never been in before)... I went in and grabbed 2 dresses, and then went into Bebe next door and grabbed a dress there too... ot placesshe normally shops, but I think this was a one time outfit anyhow... :)

Well aren''t you a doll? I can''t imagine my DH running round the city buying me dresses, much less for an event he wasn''t welcome at! (Not that my DH is a bad guy, but he really can''t shop for me)

You''re fiance is one lucky lady! I hope she has fun in NYC!

Why don''t you order the dress from Saks and have it delivered to wherever you will be in NJ, if it''s a no go, you can return it to the store. You can also call the Saks at Short Hills Mall and River Side Square Mall....you can call Neimans at Short Hills and Garden State.

no but the swing dance lessons we''re taking got out at 10... grrr.... I missed the 1st quarter. Was incredibly unhappy about it...

She took the 3 dresses I got (one didnt fit) and took them to NJ... No time for the Saks one sadly now... She has to drop one of the dresses off at the tailor to get taken in and shorterned before the party starts (at noonish--they are doing a spa day or something in the city)... She''s really petite--like 5'' 88lbs or something, so nothing fits off the rack... Actually Bebe had an XXS that fit her off the rack I brought back...
