Back from much needed vacation

Greetings PS friends!

Just got back from a very relaxing trip to Florida which gave me time to sit and refocus on priorities, things we''ll be changing and the direction I''d like to steer our company, etc. Nothing like sitting on a dock, gathering your thoughts as your watching beautiful sunsets over a lake.

First portion of this trip we were at our in-laws and primarily hung out at a trailor home they have down by a lake which makes for some very beautiful scenery. My in-laws are fickle about tying up their phone line so I wasn''t able to access the net during that time which REALLY made this more of a real vacation.

Here are a series of shots I thought I''d share with my PS fam. Generally when I go on vacation I take hundreds of pix so these are some of the highlights. Enjoy with me.

One of my favorite sunset shots. The clouds add incredible contrast huh? During this trip I did do a *little* work as we are putting together a comprehensive tutorial on the upcoming GIA Cut Grading system with examples of various diamonds (3 from each of the 5 grades) and will be releasing them in /parts/ and how they correlate with modern cut grading technologies (Sarin, HCA, MSU, B''scope, Isee2, LS/FS/IS) along with virtual models. It''ll be an extremely interesting read I hope and will help consumers understand how the current grading schemes correlate to the latest GIA information on cut. I should have the first 2 parts of the tutorial finished within the next couple of days and would be interested in feedback from our PS fam once I have it done.

Yes it''s good to be back home. I really enjoy my time off but after a week or so I''m ready to get back to work. Thanks for the welcome and glad you enjoyed the sunsets. Viewing the pix takes me back.

the 'particular' in me has to mention that, what you are seeing is a cattle egret not a duck

Thanks Patty. Yea ... that duck was hysterical actually. As my kids and I were driving home from the lake we caught this mother and baby horse and that duck was just following them around everywhere.
