band width for solitaire

Hello everyone..
My engagement ring is a flame...solitaire... 2.5mm. Ive been looking at channel set bands and was wondering what width to get. Is 3.5mm width to big to fit with my solitaire?

No i dont think its too big but personally I would want them to match... why not get a 2.5mm as well for the wedding band?

Yes, I would not go any wider than your wb, maybe even 2mm. Channel set bands are a subtle glint of diamonds, a nice row of white light, and they look nice in smaller sizes like you would have with a 2.5mm band.

Be sure that when you are looking at wbs you consider the *height* of the band off your finger in addition to its width. I hate mismatched height in my rings and it might bother you too.
