"Neon" purple supernova spinel
It's "medium dark" according to Barry, but I would say it's medium.
Definitely eyeclean.
This was custom cut from the rough that Barry had several months ago. He said that this kind of color is not easy to get and he doesn't anticipate getting any more for a long time.
My pictures don't really do anything for it, making it look like an amethyst, which it definitely does not look like! It's kind of a pinkish purple, and I hate to consider parting with it, but it's just not going to get set for a very long time... Only attaching Barry's pic because it's the most accurate!
