Hi Everyone

I am in the process of coming up with a design to have made and can''t decide on what type of bodice to go for. My girls are 32 G/GG and I plan to wear a strapless dress with a lace bolero. What bodice style will flatter rather than enhance my chest? Sweetheart or straight?

I would try to stay away from a very deep sweetheart. Sometimes straight across can give what we call around these parts "shelf boob," so maybe something in the middle with a slight scoop but not a deep v?

I think straight across will definitely make you look boobier. I had a pretty deep V, but then again, the bodice of my dress (all the way into the cup area) was so heavy on boning that I didn''t even need a bra (with D''s). The boning really seems to minimize my chest and also, because my dress dipped slightly lower in the back, it alleviated the armpit/boob fat thing that gets more noticeable the bigger your girls are. So, i''d say sweetheart and make sure it''s boned to the max. Good luck!

Ditto! I have 36DDs and my slight sweetheart is doing wonders for them. I''m having a bunch of boning put into my dress because it''s not very supportive, but when I was trying on dresses it seemed as the though the average sweetheart with good structure worked the best! Good luck!

Hi Everyone

36 H/I here, and I did a very slight sweetheart with a ton of boning because I could not find a properly supportive bra. I would also be careful with a bolero, I;ve tried them but they tend to emphasize my chest area...

I agree that straight across would not be the best. I would go for a slight sweetheart neckline. If the sweetheart seems too low-cut, you can usually get more fabric added at the top to make it a big higher and less boob-y.

As a 32DDD girl myself, I found that all the sweetheart necklines I tried on gave me way too much cleavage. The dress I ended up buying is strapless but isn''t a sweetheart or straight across, it has a little pattern to it. It won''t let me attach the photo for some reason but here''s a link to it. http://www.emeraldbridal.net/wedding-dresses.cfm?style=8004
