Hard to tell most of the pictures, but the shank is tapered.

love this! The bezel is done beautifully and really showcases that wonderful stone.

That's beautiful [I feel as though I use that word too much on PS! - but can you blame me : )]. I've never seen a pattern like that and it really works well - nice flowing design.
