Going to go to LA on Tuesday to the jewelry district. Already contacted the following businesses:

Sue & Sam Jewelry Company

Still looking for a 3-5 carat sapphire. I think my boyfriend and I feel more comfortable buying in person for the engagement ring. Has anyone had any experience with these jewelers or am I missing someone I should visit?? They told me they would have some in stock for us.

Any experience buying in LA with negotiation and certified stones vs non?

I think if you are in LA and looking for a sapphire, it may be worth your time to drive up to San Diego and visit Gemfix, it's a nice day trip... Good luck with your search.
