Or if you are using IE, open a new window so you have PS open on 2 pages, one with the reply box of the thread you want to add the emoties to, the other with the emotie thread open. Simply click on the emotie you want, hold the mouse down and drag it into the waiting reply box, click submit and voila ( hopefully!)

Also you can poach emoties if one is posted on the same thread like this
