Big hands / long fingers...

I am 5'9" tall and my ring size is 8. My ring finger is 3.5" long.

Damn, I have man hands! No joke my hands are bigger than my husbands and he is 6'1".

Darn feet are a size 10, but I digress - that's a different subject / fetish / infatuation.

So how big are your hands?

LOL I'm with Sandeek. You have lovely hands Two little birds. But darn it, you just made me measure the length of my ring finger (something only a PSer would do no doubt) and wouldn't you know-my finger is about 3.5 inches long too. Only difference is I am not as tall as you (5'6")!!! So I'm much more freaky. (Ring finger 6 shoe size 9)

In fact, when my dh and I were recently measured for a custom carbon tandem the owner of the bike store said my arms and legs were much longer than average (taking my height into consideration) so I guess I'm just freaky all over haha. See, I'm not gonna let it bother me.


ETA: Come to think of it put those fingers to work girl. You would have awesome range for piano playing!

5'10", size 9 shoes, size 7.25 finger, same length as your fingers (though my nails are getting long again so they look longer.) I like long fingers, I find them very attractive. I always thought my fingers were too short

When I hear and see these tiny size 3.5, 3.75, 4, 4.5... etc. I'm almost in shock. Haha, that was probably my ring size when I was in grade 3.

The plus side to having these big/long digits is that there is always room for bigger bling.

The plus side to having these big/long digits is that there is always room for bigger bling.

Average hands unite! Haha. I know those tiny fingers get me self conscious. They are like the size of my pinky!

5'7" here, and my ring size used to be a 5.5. After two babies, it's now a 7.25 or so. Shoe size used to be a 9, now it's up to a 10. ARGH! DH is 6'2" and he has small feet--I can actually wear his sneakers.

Ok, you got me curious and I measured my finger. I'm 5'8, size 4.75, shoe size 9 and my finger is 3.5" long. I've never been a fan of my fingers because they are so long. My BFF makes fun of me because her pinky finger is the same length as my thumb!

Ha! DH and I just had some fun with the tape measure. My wingspan is 73", so 5" longer than my height. I will have to disclose that I did, at one point, capitalize on these freakish proportions by swimming collegiately. My nickname was (and still is) "monkey arms".

Nope you are not alone! I am 5ft8in, size 10-11 shoes depending on the shoes, size 8 finger, and my finger length is about 3.6 inches!

Half of the rings on PS would only fit my pinky! Haha.

My ring finger is somewhere between 3.25" and 3.5". My ring size is only 3.25, but my fingers are longer than my husband's. My arms are super short and no coat or jacket fits me well. I'm 5'3" and my arms are shorter than somebody who is 4'11". My shoe size is 5 and I always have to buy size 6 shoes and put insoles. I've never hated my long fingers, but the short arms and the tiny feel bother me a lot. I hate having to pay to have my jackets altered and look for small sized shoes everywhere.

I played piano for years and yes, my long fingers help. I can play an 11th no problem. I actually always loved my hands because of that. And despite all the gorgeous tiny hands on PS, I still love them! But whenever I look at the finger coverage percentage chart, my bank account groans!

Size 4 but recently due to weight loss I believe I'm a 3.5. Need to get sized again. None of my clothes fit me anymore either, even the XXS Petite clothes. My wedding ring which was right before keeps trying to slip off my entire finger.
5'4". Just got it measured again at the doctors office but it hasn't changed since teen years.
And 3.5 lengty as well!

5'8" tall. Size 10 foot. Size 5 1/4 ring (some of my bands are 5 1/2 to allow for stacking). I used to be a 4 1/2 but i has a baby and my knuckles never went back down. My weeny stumpy finger is only 2.5 inches long! Not exactly elegant! Terribly jealous of all you long fingered ladies!

Hmmm. I had heard 7 was the average women's ring size. (No idea if that's accurate.)
And hadn't thought of 8 as that large, but hadn't thought about the differences in finger length!
