Black & gold necklace help

Hi PSers,

I'm assuming that if ya'll like to search for rings that necklace help isn't too far of a stretch? I have a gold chained necklace with black fake stones that I bought awhile back but it's getting to the end of the life line as the "fake gold" has rubbed off in many areas. I'm looking for a replacement and the closest one I found was this Kendra Scott one. However, it's a bit too long (prefer to stop below the chest instead of waist) and I'm not too much of a fan of how branded Kendra Scott has gotten. Any thing similar out there that anyone can recommend? I appreciate the help and thanks in advance!

Overstock also has a number of 16 inch options that might be worth considering although you might have to combine two necklaces to get the length you want.

My mother wants took a favorite costume jewelry necklace to a jeweler and had it gold plated. Something that might be worth looking into for the necklace you already have?

Thanks! Love that second link. Your mom is a clever lady but I think it was just a cheapo banana republic necklace that isn't worth gold plating but interesting to know that it can be done! Have a great day!
