That gotcha huh? As some of you know I had breast reconstruction surgery on Monday . My original right implant had gotten capsular contraction and needed to come out. The doc replaced it with an implant that can be adjusted( had first plump up this afternoon. I also had a small adjustable implant put in the left side. They are healing nicely. dH came home yesterday with two DBTY style necklaces as a sorry you are sore present. He got them at a local jeweler, they are rose gold with amethysts at 24" and a shorter one at 18" with peridot. The stones sparkle and I really like them. He mentioned there was a third one that was white sapphires at 20" but he didn't think I wanted three!!!! Hell yeah I want three!!!!

I'm glad to hear you are doing well and have new bling as you recover!

(Btw, when I saw the title I had to laugh. I call my dh booby (or bubbala)...lol).

Oh, gosh! I wondered what in the world???!!! I hope you do recover quickly!

Those are great!!! Rose gold and amethyst especially is beautiful! And certainly you need the middle sized one for times you want to pair it with just one of the others!

Oh Elisa, I am so sorry to hear that you had to have surgery. Bloody awful disease. I know you are free of it now which is great but so unfair that the residual effects remain. Here is a great big cyber hug for you:

The necklaces are GORGEOUS! I absolutely love them. So nice to get the layering effect. What a thoughtful hubby. They look amazing on you! The colour really pops against your tan.

Best new booby gift ever!! But mine are old and droopy boobies so I'm not 100% certain what is an appropriate gift for new boobs.... I'll check w Emily Post and get back to you.....

Thanks for all the sweet comments. He really is a keeper! He likes shiny things and has bought me many pieces of jewelry in the past, a few surprise gifts in that were not Exactly my taste, but almost always had blue stones. I was pretty surprised no blue this time, but he said he asked they didn't have any blue!!

I think he knew I wanted one because I had shown him the one from WF and BGD that I was considering, but they were a bit too pricey for me at the time. Since these were amethyst and peridot not as pricy, plus the chains are very lightweight. Although with my Barbara on also the chains look thicker they are very lightweight.

I called the jeweler and asked about the white sapphire one. She put it aside for me to come and try on to see if I like it, like what is there not to like? She also mentioned that DH asked about blue stones but she had already sold the blue one!! Lol.

She also reminded me I had put aside a garnet eternity band back in December!!
I had liked it and it was in her estate/ preloved section so it was quite inexpensive. It's hard to find rings to fit my fat fingers and this fit my middle finger. So I might have more bling to post in a few days.
