That's just so sweet, Noobie. So why doesn't my SO give me anything when my 18 month old is a pain in the butt?

Should I send my SO to you for training sessions?

Just let him watch them for a couple hours at a time on the weekend and leave the house.

It works on me every time. I hold them in outstretched arms in total exhaustion as soon as she walks through the door.

MC: they are 2 1/2 and 6 months and both boys; quite a handful right now

I'm really late here but I think that necklace is fab--esp. in platinum. I have one in 18K and I love it--it's perfect for just that little bit of sparkle...and in platinum--how rich!

Noobie--you are a such good guy. Not many men appreciate that raising a family is a full-time job.

Noob- You be da Man!!

hey all, just updating you on the necklace in case anyone is interested. . .um, it's super tiny & delicate. It's a cute chain but you cannot see it from more than a few feet away so I've decided to return it
sad.gif
Hopefully I can find another that has slightly bigger beads. . .I don't like the huge beads the mall carries, but this necklace is practically invisible, so it won't work either. . .

Oh well.

Platinum Necklace

Here's a lazy way of including the link to the necklace. Blue nile does have great prices, so I'll keep looking for something nice to add to my collection of necklaces

Hmm, that's not good. Mine arrives tomorrow. I guess I'll have to try to pawn it off on Sevens instead on sending it back.

Hey sorry guys. I did read the customer feedback section on that chain and several commented on how "small" it was.

Oh well-live and learn.
Get something else so we can see!

Did you get the necklace yet? You know, I think it would look great with one of the beads removed and a small pendant attached. On it's own it's invisible, but with a gemstone stone pendant it would look really cool.

I'd do this if I had the money, but right now we're saving for a new house

It's supposed to be sitting in my office. I went through the trouble of setting up an alternate shipping address so it wouldn't be sent home. I'm travelling for the next few days. I actually am trying to order a Blue Nile diamond to look at since they told me the PS discount ends today and won't extend it, but I can't even reach the rep to order it. However topic for another thread if it doesn't improve by close of day.

Edited to add: Rep was at a meeting. Good friendly service overall, however don't understand BN's management decision not to extend PS discount while awaiting information from them.

Well, I just had a chance to look at it today and it is fine, but still very nice. For the price one could only get about 4 grams of raw platinum, so it is a very good value. I figure I'll keep it and only send it back if my wife doesn't like it. Besides I don't like returning things, I think it's part of the male DNA.

Hey, that's cool. I hope your wife loves her new necklace

I've kind of decided to look around a bit and find a similar chain that can have a pendant attached but has beads all around since so it looks more balance . .I have a small diamond from an earring of my mom's that would look pretty/good proportions to the BN necklace. . .hmmmm. . . when I was at the post office, it kind of hit me that I should have kept the necklace
rolleyes.gif
lol Too indecisive, I guess. . .I drove my husband's nuts over deciding what to do.

Thanks for the "consumer report" on this necklace--I have been eyeing it also.

Noobie--LOL!!! You are right: returning things and/or going to the post office is not included in the Y chromosome.

Jennifer,

It is a very cute necklace! I tried it with other necklaces and it can be worn together with anything silver or platinum! Ahhhh, I probably should have kept it. . .will have to wait until BN has another 10% off sale
3.gif
(I'm petite and it still looked tiny on me, so I do think it's too small to wear alone/without an attached pendant
2.gif
.)

I'm going to purchase a couple of gold bands to wear on my right hand ring finger while I decide exactly what to do about the necklace. . .heheheh

My husband and I are in middle of renovating our house for putting it up on the market, so I want some simple rings that I don't have to worry about while trying to figure out how to wall paper/use hammers, etc.

Michelle

There is something very appealing about a little platinum around the neck...sometimes you want a barely-there piece--but I hear you, MC, about it being too bare!
1.gif

I'm thinking about it...what I REALLY need is to be cut off!
11.gif
2.gif

I'm not sure it can't be worn on it's own. It seems to me that it could be one of those layer pieces where it can be a foundation or layered with other things. But then again, I don't know much about these things.

C'mon Jennifer it's less than the cost of a sushi dinner!

The $100 off discount has indeed been extended, but it has a new code associated with it: ASEPT34

This should work through the end of September.

Thanks
John

Update, she really liked the necklace, so it's a keeper. I really like it as well. It's looks much better on than in the box.

P.S. Sale is on again till end of month

Way to go Noobie

Hey, I just went to try to order that necklace, but it didn't give me a discount--it's the whole $135. I used the code referred to above, ASEPT34. Is there a different code I should use?

Try NEWBLUE34.
I just bought a bracelet this morning so I know it works.

Excellent, it works. Thanks, Chrono.
