Blue Nile tennis bracelet quality? What do you think?

I've been mulling over the purchase of a tennis bracelet for what seems like ages now, I'm a bit on the fence about 3prong vs 4prong, basket vs x prong etc.
I just want a line of sparkle!

I had almost decided on a 4ct WG bracelet from whiteflash as I know the quality is fantastic and the price is about half that of those I had seen here in Sydney. However now it seems I can purchase a 4ct WG four prong bracelet from bluenile for quite a bit less than the whiteflash bracelet...making it just over a third of the price of the ones I'd seen here in OZ.

....so now I'm torn!

Does anyone have any experience or feedback with Bluenile bracelets and quality?
The specs on the website say 4ct (minimum 3.95ct) 65 x F VS2 VG diamonds.

How noticeable will the difference from VG cut bluenile diamonds compared to the ACA's from Whiteflash?

Hi nomissjane, I don't have any experience with blue nile tennis bracelets but just wanted to let you know (in case you didn't already) that some of their tennis bracelets are 50% off right now with the code preview13. You could always order the BN bracelet at that awesome price and if you don't like it return it as they have a good return policy. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks Missy, that's the exact reason I'm drawn to the Bluenile one. I wasn't going to purchase one until after the new year but this price is just soooo tempting, and who doesn't love a bargain! I have noooo idea what 'black Friday' is but I'm happy to take advantage. Hehe.

I just hadn't seen many PSers post Bluenile bracelets here and so wasn't sure if there was a reason for that.

Some of our vendors are going to have things like tennis bracelets for Black Friday specials.

I would think JA might have something and a few of the others (WF, BGD...).

In the last few years it's become a 'thing' to offer specials at this time of year. These are not their normal goods (won't be ACA or Signature Line), but are very nice quality and at a good price point because they are bought in bulk.

Keep your eye peeled.

I do agree that Blue Nile has a great return policy. And I would absolutely NOT hesitate to order any of their pieces and see what I think of it in person.

If you originally wanted a WF piece, I'd personally call WF and ask them if they can tell you if they are going to have any Black Friday specials. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Good luck!

ETA: OOPS.

Just realized you are an Aussie and that you don't know what Black Friday is. Or Cyber Monday.

Well, on Thursday this week we are having our Thanksgiving-- where we give thanks for all that we have. Then on Friday... shoppers try (and do actually succeed, unfortunately) to kill one another (no, I'm not exaggerating: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/black-friday-deaths-and-disasters-show-1452562) trying to get 'more' things to give thanks for.

The Friday after Thanksgiving is called Black Friday. And the Monday after Thanksgiving is Cyber Monday.

On Black Friday retailers of every kind (cars, jewelry, grocery stores, electronics, clothing, you name it) will have unprecedented bargains and deals for one day only.
And on Cyber Monday, the same, only those will be online.

Get in touch with Leslie at BGD for a tennis bracelet and great quality

I think you should wait and see what the other vendors are offering on Black Friday and Cyber Monday before you decide. I think you will notice a difference between WF ACA and Blue Nile VG cut diamonds though.

Thanks Gypsy, I wasn't familiar with black Friday or Cyber Monday... I hope this year people are sensible about nabbing a bargain.

Sortmon and Willydiamond, your right, I'll check out what Whiteflash and BGD are offering, you never know I might get lucky.
I've previously purchased my studs from BGD so I feel confident in their quality and I expect that Whiteflash are the same.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope you all have lots to be thankful for.
I may come back next week and see who had the best Turkey recipe...I'm planning on doing one for Christmas this year :lickout:

I unfortunately had a tennis bracelet before PS, and thankfully it is pretty decent quality. But I just wouldn't settle for less than the WF bracelet if I bought one now, because I know I would regret it!

Thanks Diamondseeker, in the end I've decided to wait and pony up the extra for a BGD or Whiteflash bracelet. I'm not ever going to be upgrading this so I'm going to go for the best quality cut diamonds I can right from the start.
Now I'm just back to the same old dilemma of 3prong or Xprong.
Returning pieces from Australia, with all the customs and duty hoo haa just seems like a headache so I'm trying to get it right first go.

Hope everyone had a smashing Thanksgiving...I'm looking forward to hearing some turkey 'tips'.
