Bourbon-colored diamond, on the rocks!

So, being a Kentucky girl - when Alex at Park Group posted this cushion, I couldn’t pass.

It’s as pure as a single malt straight from the barrel as it could possibly be. It’s a 1 carat VS, nicely cut little cushion.




I am NOT a big halo fan, but I’m stepping out of my comfort zone here and having one made to ‘ramp’ the finger coverage up a bit.

The setting will be YG and a brushed finish - corn yellow,since corn is the largest by volume ingredient in bourbon besides water. Seems fitting.

Here are some CADs. Pretty basic setting but Alex’s simple settings are always possessing that special’ je n’est sais quoi’... they are elegant.

Definitely love halos on colored diamonds! You are choosing the best color gold for this one, too! (Although, I'd personally do the halo in white metal)

Stunning! I regretfully traded in a ring that had almost the same aspect of your diamond and ring. The setting was white gold, haloed with VS diamonds and the prongs around the diamond were yellow gold. I really miss it!
