After 8 months of chemotherapy, changing diapers endlessly, sleeping on the sofa for months on end, thousands of miles traveled in order to get the best treatment we can, this dog is still genuinely happy to see me every time I walk through the door. Granted, he can't wag his tail, but I see it in his eyes and it means more to me than I can explain. The fact that he is somehow still alive and happy is my greatest accomplishment.
Balance..... by that I mean I have travelled the world, had a carreer, got my degree, have a wonderful husband and child, was able to do the stay at home mum thing and am now slowly integrating my career and my mum role. To me balance has been my biggest achievement.
I have many accomplishments that I am proud of, however the biggest one for me is giving birth to my awesome son, who is 17 months old now.
The other thing that will be a huge accomplishment once we are done with the process is the international adoption of our daughter, which will take about 2 years to complete.
