This hank of pearls, unknotted and never strung ever, is from Andrew Moline of Moline Pearls. These pearls are baroque blue akoya. They are near round. They do have some blemishing, but the point of these is really the color. They are 7.5 to 8 mm in size.
I purchased these in January and I was going to do a project with them. I am going to go another direction now.
I paid $825 for the hank. It is 16 inches now, so once you knot it and add a clasp, you will have an 18 inch strand.
I am asking $700. Shipping will be $10 in the US and if there is an overage, I'll cover that overage. This will be a final sale.
Pearl Paradise as well as other vendors will string this for you, as well as likely Andrew.
Photos are taken on a cloudy day, in natural light near a window.
Comparison pearls in the photos are gem quality akoya. These are not included in the sale. I use these as comparison pearls to show that the hank does actually have very nice luster for baroque pearls.
I would say that the color of these pearls varies from pale blue to silver blue and a few are more green toned. There is a variety of different colors in the hank but they all read blue together and work together cohesively. However if you were to pick out individual pearls to match you would find that some of the tones of the pearls are slightly different.
I would prefer to sell these here so I'm going to wait to do a listing on Loupe Troop.
